Village Council Election and Meeting

*Sighs loudly as she sits in the Scribe's Room of the library preparing a speech for the village council meeting* So much has happened in the last few weeks. The village has survived another long winter. The signs of spring are now upon us and like the cattle in the barn the dear Aasimir, Fawkes, is about to bare her own child. From the upper tower I can also look out and see that there is much to do to repair the damage done by the wayward mage. *shakes her head* how such a bumbling fool could be allowed to join the council I will not understand. Perhaps it is just the ways of some humans not to seek the perfection that those of elven blood desire. *looks back down at her paper, feeling pensive about the upcoming meeting for the village council* We are adding another to our council, I should hope that the village uses wise judgement in their selection this time. *Looks up at the sky and realizes it is nearly time for her class to begin, drops her pen on the table and dashes down the stairs to set up*

((OOC INFO: Village council will be meeting at 12pm SLT on Sunday, February 15th. Candidates who have applied for the position on the council will be announced and campaigning can officially begin at that time. The election will be held Sunday, February 22, 2009.))
