Merchants, Rangers and Demons OH MY!

The merchant ships sailed into to town today. Unloading their wares and opening up shop in the market. I'd never seen such fine clothing, jewelery or my favorite the weapons. Such wonderful creations that I could not resist the temptation to spend a few coins. A jeweled elven globe from the merchant of Arwynd, the fine threads of dresses and hunting wear from Tayren, Madison and the Lady Auer, an amulet from Lady Blackthorn, I had to stop myself before i spent it all. The weaponsmiths had not fully moved in yet, so I will have to visit the two Rath's again once they have settled in from their long journey.

Done with my shopping I hurried off to the pub to meet with Lady Violet, the bar keep, about serving food in her establishment. It was there that the most curious of creatures came wondering by. Two of them no less, saying they were looking for the towns secrets. I think they may well have been demons. Their wings however reminded me of the dragon's skeleton that lay at the foot of the mountains. I failed to tell them that I knew the secrets of the town, of course I wouldn't have shared them with just anyone.

The pub proved to be the place to be today as explorers and a fairly noble ranger poured in from their travels. Looking for lodging and food they found comfort in the Dragon's Baine Pub's firelight. Or was it the Ale and Mead that Violet was slipping them through the evening that put them in such good spirits.
